That, if they truly were vines, there would be flowers coming off of them, accompanied with a blood lust that she can never quite explain whenever Yingxing looks at her questioningly. Words fall from Dan Feng’s lips, and she can never make out the muffled syllables until she looks away from Baiheng and blinks at the world slowly and it comes to a stop. Abrupt and fleeting like the blooming chrysanthemums all around.
Golden and wonderous whilst Baiheng smiles like there is nothing wrong at all. And Jingliu lead’s them, the quintet, like she has not been knocked off course and kilter, Dan Feng and Yingxing looking to one another conspiratorially and communicating in a way only they know.
And in the deepest crevices of Jingliu’s heart, there grows a flower.
For Baiheng alone, she is sure. She has to be as the leader and all knowledgeable in the manner and way that she is, surveying Jing Yuan and his training.

Mizuki hates being unable to see the world in colour. They believe themselves to be good at colour picking though, even if it had its drawbacks of not truly being able to see what exactly #c6c3ce was exactly when they dressed for their day to day life or if #E4A8CA was a pretty enough colour to be their favourite.
It also meant Rui could wear clashing colours if he wanted too without them complaining because all they could do was read the basic descriptions and see what people did when the two of them walked around in tandem. This would lead to him being their ‘tragedy clown’ and an ‘utter embarrassment who was a waste of a good pair of eyes!’
Grey was nice but awfully dull, until they meet Shinonome Ena and they truly had a valid reason to throw up looking at Rui’s outfits before realising what exactly happened as they stared at the pretty brunette. Their heart thumping, their hands sweating, their stomach twisting and their legs running.
They hated grey yet they still accepted it with open arms, when that safety was gone so were there and trouble ensues.
