Summary
Eden Academy is hosting a Christmas Festival featuring the Eden Express. A train ride featuring actors, hot chocolate and a strange conductor character. Damian Desmond insists that he is too mature to care about Christmas and he definitely doesn't believe in Santa Claus, but when faced with a chance to earn a Stella Star, he reluctantly agrees to attend.
Meanwhile, Anya is having the best time of her life and cannot understand what Sy-on boy's problem is. Why can't he just enjoy Christmas?
Written for the Plotbunny Burrow Winter 2025 Challenge, the prompt assigned to me at random: The Polar Express.
But don't worry, I have never actually seen the film so this is a loose adaptation combined with canonical SxF with some Christmas-themed chaos! Angst-heavy scenes warning!

Ms. Forger is the new Classical Language teacher at Eden Academy and it’s already been a challenge to fit in with the other faculty. A thirty year-old single woman, she wasn’t what anyone expected to teach the subject.
Encouraged to go to an after work drinks mixer by one of the drama teachers, Ms. Blackbell, Anya attends hoping to not run into the teacher whose classroom is next door to hers — Mr. Desmond.
He’s never been friendly towards her, only managing to mutter noises when she’s tried to green him. A serious and stern history teacher who's fully committed to his job, he wouldn’t be expected at a social event anyway.
So, why is he there? And why is he staring at Anya?

Damian is sick of always being in Demetrius’ shadow, so he tries to cast a magic spell to make him as old as Demetrius. Anya ends up getting in the way and she ages up instead. How are the Eden five gonna solve this and get Anya back to normal?
As the smoke slowly cleared, the four kids stood frozen, their eyes wide with shock. The figure emerging from the mist wasn’t the eight-year-old Anya they knew—it was a stunning fifteen-year-old version of her. It was like something out of a shoujo manga, complete with glitter, a pink glow, and rose petals fluttering around her.

Within the castle walls holds an open secret, fantasy au of Damian and Anya being deeply in love probably inspired by the first season of House of the Dragon, but dw no one actually blood related is getting together here.
