Summary
Upon saving Mirkon from the harpies, Gale shares a little tidbit from his childhood, much to Therin's (Tav) joy. Later in the night, the pair share an intimate moment, courtesy of the tadpoles.
Or,
Gale and Therin use the tadpoles to show each other their former rugrat selves.
-------------------
A young Gale, no more than five, readies a spell—a firebolt of all things—taking aim at the edges of an older man’s robes. The man yelps as the heat licks at his feet and turns around. It’s undoubtedly Gale’s father—Therin knows from the wrinkles surrounding familiar brown eyes—Gale had grown up to be his spitting image. “Gale!” he shouts, stamping the flames out, “you know, this makes it far less likely you’ll get that kitten!” A mischievous Gale smirks, and darts out of the room, his father taking chase with a laugh.

Summary
Set during THE boat scene. Therin (Tav) loves Gale as he is, and maybe, finally, convinces him of it a bit.
Or, Gale finally begins to believe he is enough.
Featuring my Tav, Therin, a wood-elf bard.
----------
“Therin, you must understand. There are a million men who are far more deserving than I of you. All I’m asking for is to have a single chance to come close to worthy of you,” Gale whispered pleadingly, “I could give you everything.”
“Damn Mystra to the Hells—and all who ever made you feel like you weren’t enough,” responded Therin, tears beginning to gather in his own eyes. Desperation clawed at his stomach—a desperation for the man he loved to see his own beauty. “I wish you could see the Gale I know. You’ve already given me everything I could ever want.”

Summary
Therin takes a sword for Gale during the fight with Marcus, leaving him grievously injured. Gale panics, for many reasons.
Or,
It takes a near-death experience for Gale to realize the true depth of his feelings.
-------------
Therin awoke slowly, groaning at the ache that permeated to his bones. His last dream still imprinted on his senses—the feeling of rough scratch of a beard against his own cheek, some sweet phrase on the tip of his tongue, though he could not remember what. He blinked his eyes open, adjusting to the dim lighting in the tent, which he quickly realized was Gale’s tent. That explained the profuse amounts of cushioning about him—his collection of blankets and pillows was far sparser than the wizard’s. He found the wizard quickly, sitting at his bedside—he stared out into the distance through the abode’s opening, mind a million miles away.
“Hey,” Therin said weakly, a small smile inevitably gracing his lips as he caught the man’s eye. Gale immediately beamed back at him, indescribable relief washing over him.

Summary
Elminster delivers the news of Mystra's demand of Gale - blow himself up, and all will be forgiven. Unlike Gale, Therin has a thing or two to say about that.
Or,
Therin isn't about to let Gale go and blow himself up for the goddess that cast him away.
-----------------
“You’re not seriously considering going through with this?” Therin was livid, to say the fucking least. Gale was taken aback at the severity of his tone—the elf’s ire had never been directed to anyone in their camp, not even when Lae’zel and Shadowheart had their little scuffle a tenday ago. When he met Therin’s eyes, he saw the rage storming behind them, brow furrowed in confusion at just what the wizard was trying to propose.

Summary
After spending a lifetime trying to be good enough to deserve love, Gale is unfamiliar with the idea that he is enough as he is. The tantalizing pull of the Crown, of all that power, the ability to become something better than himself, is nearly overwhelming.
Or,
Gale finally comes to an important realization. Therin is pleased about it.
------
He paused. The air was rife with emotion, a silent promise—Gale knew exactly what the elf meant, in that moment. An inexplicable connection had drawn them together—as if the nautiloid were fate, a necessity to bring them together. And in that moment, he came to a realization—a rather important one, one that he kicked himself for not having sooner.
He was doing it again.
Just like with Mystra, he was trying to become something more than himself. Something divine. Something worthy. He was trying ascend, for Therin.

Summary
With Myrkul dead, the party has a much needed rest and celebration before their adventures continue. At the Last Light Inn, Gale slips away from the festivities - only to be followed, and subsequently, taken care of as if he is something precious (he is, he just doesn't see it).
Or,
Gale's hair gets some much needed care.
----------------
Therin made a contented noise, blushing in turn. “Tip your head back, love,” he whispered, already using his hands to guide the motion. With the small pitcher, he poured warm water over the wizard’s curls, the surface-level grime loosening, muddying the liquid. A practiced hand guided the water out of his eyes, before rubbing soap onto his scalp. Gale could’ve made a dozen remarks about the scarcity of soap during their party’s adventures—yet when Therin began to gently scrub at his roots, all he could do was moan.

Summary
So Tara is the culprit that's been savagely murdering the postal service of Rivington. Yet, she reveals a secret that's close to Gale's heart- a secret that endears Therin even more to his hopeless, silly wizard.
Or,
Tara calls Gale Mr. Dekarios. Therin has feelings about his last name.
---------------
The wizard lingered, bathed in moonlight, uncertain whether to step closer or try and fade into the earth. If only a hole could swallow him. “I didn’t intend to spy,” he continued to try to justify himself, wringing his hands, “I couldn’t sleep, and I heard a melody—and well… I was drawn to it.”
“Well, eavesdropping is very unbecoming for a gentleman,” Therin teased back, taking delight in Gale’s awkwardness at being caught, “but I’ll allow it, seeing as the melody was about you.”

Summary
Sarevok is dead. Their adventure is drawing to a close. All of their hard work will soon pay off. But joy is the furthest thing from anyone's mind.
Or,
Therin can't stand much more of this.
---------------
Astarion, Shadowheart and Gale exchanged concerned glances. This wasn’t the bard they’d all grown to love. Everyone had sensed a change in him, as of late—his smiles didn’t quite reach his eyes, he was quieter around mealtimes. Gale worried more than anyone else—the elf had even begun withdrawing when they were alone. In this moment, following the end of their bloody battle, they’d expected him to be the cheeriest of them all, as he always.
But there he was. On his knees, head bowed, cries echoing through the stone chamber in which the Bhaalspawn had met his end.

Summary
Lorroakan thinks he can best everyone's favourite bard-wizard duet. He cannot. He certainly cannot.
Or,
Lorroakan lays Therin out on the battlefield. Gale goes wild. Then they both do.
------------
“Don’t you dare touch him,” Gale’s voice was low, gravelly—he felt the Weave hum at his fingertips like never before. Therin was still pitifully trying to regain his strength, find his footing, though the world felt like it was spinning around him. He was one errant blow away from losing consciousness—the fear that struck in Gale’s heart turned to rage as it reached his mind.
“Oh, how lovely! Mystra’s obedient little lapdog, baring his teeth,” Lorroakan guffawed, “Tell me—will you whimper for her as you burn, or for your pathetic minstrel?”

Summary
Therin knows how powerful of a wizard Gale is. He's heard about it endlessly- and seen it, in battle. His own magic is wild, fluid, more improv than practice. But for once, he sees the Weave through Gale's eyes.
Or,
Gale shows Therin how to channel the Weave.
--------------
He'd never felt magic like this. So present, so real. The fears about his own song-laden magic melted away, replaced with awe at the scene around him.
Gale’s presence within it. Steady. Unyielding. He’d felt echos of the sensation before—whenever Gale cast in battle, using the Weave’s very fabric as metal in a forge. It was hard not to feel it—it’d made Therin stumble once, nearly taking a goblin arrow to the shoulder. But now? It was clearer than ever before, as if the wizard had purposefully revealed himself. Therin felt his concentration, holding onto the Weave like a fragile glass.
