Summary
One fateful summer morning, society came to an abrupt end. Not because of some virus, an asteroid impact, or nuclear annihilation, but due to a mysterious force that dropped the bodies of almost every single person in a mere six hours. With the survivors scattered across large distances, and as the world around them decays back into the nature it was forged from, they are left confused and broken while attempting to rediscover some semblance of the world they once knew.
Written here is the journal of a young man who thought extinction was guaranteed and that all hope was lost. However, his mind would miraculously change when a little someone encounters him, of whom he instinctively wants to protect and grow close to. It is from this meeting that the dominos are set in motion, where that very same person unknowingly leads him down a path whose echoes will reverberate across scales previously thought impossible, ushering in the ultimate journey of a lifetime.

Summary
Though humanity had stood on the brink of extinction just five years earlier — felled by forces beyond anyone’s control — those who remained had begun to find hope in the small groups and settlements they now called home. Through the ashes of the old world and determined to survive, these people persistently march into the future in an attempt to rebuild, which slowly helps them to understand their place in the world as they explore and advance. However, it is by these very same mechanisms that other groups are founded and grow, which operates as an inevitable catalyst in how groups react and evolve. Needless to say, while the collective emergence of tribes is good for the individual, the ideologies that are adopted create fundamental incompatibilities that sometimes result in violent schisms.
