Summary
After Dragons Rising season 3, Jay (amnesiac), Kai, and Nya are all stuck together at one of the monasteries. They've made the decision to stay there in case one of the others can get the portal working again (Kai is antsy but also doesn't really want to go exploring after what happened last time). Jay and Nya have been training together in the meantime, and this fic is the culmination of all that tension. I'm not 100% on how canon-compliant it is because I wasn't about to go rewatch everything for a oneshot (I only recently got back into Ninjago and I forget important plot points quickly) but this is based on what I remember/could find about how season 3 ended etc.

Summary
Nya resists her feelings for amnesiac Jay because she knows he's not the same. Explored through the lense of reconciling the "Old Jay" and his new character of "Rogue," particularly because he's picked up some colourful language after his time at the Administration and with Ras.
While this is primarily a Nya/Jay fic, I also want to include multiple POV's and explore Jay's relationship with the rest of the team. As a result, I have also included some Geode shipping, one-sided Lava, Asexual Lloyd, and other headcanons. The timeline is very abstract so I'm gonna go with less canon-compliant but still involving some references to (broader) Ninjago plot elements.
Rated Teen because of the swearing.
