Ilya got up then, walking over to Shane's side of the lounge so he could nestle his hand into the boy's dark hair, for the sake of eye-contact. Shane flushed at the condescending choice of words, eyes watering as he looked directly into Ilya's wolfish expression. "I don't, didn't mean it," he tried, head slumping forward to land on Ilya's shoulder as he grew steadily hard under his sweatpants.
"Oh, so you are too fucking stupid to say what you mean, I get it," Ilya plastered a grin as he added, "Is my baby too slow to use his words? Or is the great Shane Hollander just dumb hockey player?" Ilya cooed, tightening his grip as he stuck his thumb into Shane's pliant mouth. "I think I will have to do the talking for both of us, tell the press you can only take my dick now. Is all you're good for."

Hopelessly inexperienced, Shane lasted a few mere moments before he whined a quiet "Please?" in confusion, at a loss on how to proceed. He wanted, no, needed to know how to satiate the gaping hunger pulling at his inhibition, making him dizzy with desire.
"Do you need me to guide you with this too?" Rozanov asked with a mocking pout, tracing a finger across Shane's spit-slick lips as he softly nodded alongside the frustrated tears forming in the boy's waterline.

Of course Ilya wasn't going to choose him.
And now, he stood in their kitchen like a stranger, having to pretend be okay with the fact that Ilya went out and hooked up with Svetlana on a night meant to celebrate hockey's greatest. A party he wasn't even invited to as a captain himself.
What a fucking joke.
He spent the entire day coming up with meticulous loopholes and justifications for something that was actually quite simple—nobody remembered. Shane was wholeheartedly forgotten and he was too proud, or maybe dense, to figure it out himself.
