Description:

A past fic set in the time when Li Kouyuu is a novice and first meets Ran Shuuei. Kouyuu has some difficulties with other novices and a lecherous Minister, and these difficulties bring him and the popular Ran Shuuei together, despite Kouyuu's mistrust and suspicion.

Notes:

Both of these fics were written for Yuletide. I happened to get the same pairing request, by the same person, two years in a row, so this little series was the result.
