The Petrellies are somewhat notorious around town. Arthur Petrelli is a force to be reckoned with all on his lonesome but with his eldest son, Nathan one of the youngest DA's in a long time and his second eldest, Gabriel heading to be one of the greatest scientific minds of his generation once he graduates; all eyes are on twins Peter and Claire to see if they will uphold their family's mantle of greatest.
However, a string of murders in the twin's sophomore year threatens to shatter the perfect family facade.
Or Rather, Peter's Sophomore year was going to be complicated enough with just his sexuality and his family politics to worry about. Instead, between mysterious powers that might be killing him, the odd behaviour of both his brother Gabriel and his Father and Isaac Mendez's inexplicable hostility toward him and a string of gruesome murders he's just glad he has his sister Claire by his side.

When he's close enough for her to see his face, he says, "Hello, angel. Been waiting long?"

Then he reaches into his chest and rips out his heart, laying it at her feet. When she looks up again, horrified, there is no wound.

The thought of being unbreakable will that little by little will eventually destroy it, dragging her into an abyss from which it will not be easy to get out.
