Giving up her role as Ladybug. Quickly, under the guidance and motherhood of Audrey, she blooms into the designer she had dreamed of becoming.
Seven years later, Marinette finally makes her return to Paris for Paris Fashion Week, where she is headlining her first line, independent from the Bourgeois brand. She quickly learns that her decision to leave had deeper consequences, not just on Paris for losing their Lady, but on a certain now stray cat.

I stared at myself in the mirror, unsure if I was still dreaming or if this was real. My eyes, my hair, thin lips, prominent lashes, fair skin. All things that were definitely not me. My body moved slowly, the mirror image reflecting every action, but still I was unsure about the reality of this. Maybe I’d read too many Isekai comics before bed with Miraculous Ladybug playing in the background. This was in line with one of those “I became the Villainess” kind of plotlines after all. Her lungs have had issues with taking in enough since birth and her legs have completely paralysed from the waist down since she was age ten with seemingly no causing factor.
