Summary

Desperate for a fresh start, and something less physically demanding, he applies for a range of jobs, somehow landing an office position as a personal assistant and secretary within SQD Financial Group.
He quickly makes friends in the office, especially when Cho Sang-woo takes him under his wing, helping him settle in.

In-ho nodded, “I’m glad, too”. Then, like the perfect set-up for a K-drama, the radio played a slow ballad love song with lyrics that rang far too loudly in their silence.

The final Squid Game came to an end 3 years ago. The island exploded, and the Game itself became little more than a distant memory.
Now Gihun lives a very different life. He is no longer a grim crusader fighting injustice, but the devoted guardian of a little girl growing up under his care.
Well... not exactly her guardian. And perhaps still a little bit of a crusader. The Game, meanwhile, is not nearly as far behind him as he would like. One person from that dark chapter of his life keeps finding ways to remind him of it.
And somehow, against all reason, that bastard has become closer to the little girl than anyone else.
