There have been eight unsuccessful surgeries to implant a device in Tyler's brain which would activate the presence of the entity known as Blurryface within him. The Bishop Nico, lead physician on this, calls it the Polarize Project.
He believes the future of the Sacred Municipality of Dema relies on the outcome of the Polarize Project, as well as on the future of his adoptive son, Tyler. But Tyler, for his part, just wants the horrible dreams and wearing side effects of Blurryface to stop. Tyler misses his friends, he misses Josh, and the life that the Polarize Project has kept him from living for four years. Nico believes the next Nosis device, Nosis IX, will be successful. I will try to describe most of the lore but i will add some other things that will fit to the story and most important I WILL INCLUDE CLANCYBEARER. Its not in fic yet like directly because i still gotta reach the clancybearer thing in the story but we'll get to that part. For now its like SOMETHING SOMETHING but they dint realize it yet but JEEEEEEEEZ there will be so much of them being confused over things and lost because if their fears and thoughts i just cant wait to write it all. It might have long ass chapters but they are getting progresively more interesting i just need something to start to work with. Torch meets Clancy, and he falls instantly in love. But he can't tell Clancy. He's been through too much to have to deal with love. So he stays his friend, showing him around, but as Clancy starts to realize, and feelings are reconsidered, the Night of the Marigolds is arriving, and all Torch wants is to go with the man he loves. His purpose was to be glorified he knew that, but how he’d get there, that was a question for itself.

Little does he know, Torchbearer has found the next Clancy, and this doppelgänger holds secret feelings for the Bandito leader as well. To make things worse, Torchbearer now sees Nobis as a traitor of the worst degree (and Nobis can’t blame him). Oh, and now Nobis has become a public enemy of Dema and WILL be killed if caught. So yeah, typical love triangle.
