This is exactly what it looks like, lore-based fan-fiction basically coming up with the histories and explanations for the various weapons of Mass Effect in the model of Forgotten Weapons. Shepard is bored in the post-war world, so they've decided to start archiving all of the weapons in the galaxy. Yes, ALL OF THE WEAPONS. Anyways, this is the sort of stupid nonsense that will appeal exclusively to people who read every last codex entry like the maniacs we are, but I don’t mind. I like creating lore like this and I like Mass Effect, and this is a corner of the universe with a lot of unexplained questions. There might be some slight malleability on timelines for various reasons but I’ll try to stay within-timeline and within lore where I can. Things will broadly be in the time period after ME3 after a theoretical happy ending for Shepard, pick your favorite headcanon but if it comes up I’ll be referencing the Happy Ending Mod.
