It might have a little to do with his devastatingly bleak writing career, or his even worse love life. Maybe it was the fact that he's just living in New York, away from all his childhood friends and the life he left behind. Or maybe, and this is a stretch, Mike Wheeler misses Will Byers just a little extra these past couple of months.
