When Junior Deputy Malcom Rook entered the Henbane River with a mission to eliminate the siren. He believed she’d be easy to kill. Ready to take down another Herald and bring the county one step closer to freedom. He was never prepared for the fact that he and Faith Seed were more alike than he’d ever cared to admit.
In the hazy confusion of a Paradise Lost, Malcom makes the split-second decision to pull Faith from the water instead of letting her fade. Bringing the now unconscious herald of the Henbane to Dutch’s bunker. Within its walls — Faith slowly begins to unravel as she suffers withdrawal, amplified by the hard truth of Joseph’s abandonment.
As she confronts the truth, all Faith can do is look to the man who saved her for comfort. Though that comfort turns into something more.

Summary
Julian had spent his life since the cult moved in doing anything he could do survive, and he was pretty good at it. But when he ends up getting trapped by something beyond his control, he learns that no matter what you do, you still may be screwed. Faith Seed, one of the leaders of the cult, kidnaps him, and he thinks the end is coming soon for him. That'd probably be easier than what she has planned.
First try at a real story, may or may not be future smut, which I'll put a warning for.
