Summary
You've been determined for years to give the long defunct Unknown Realms publication the second chance it deserves. Keats has a vested interest in its success. And really this is all just a very long setup to justify me writing that man getting his bits out.
In other words, I just finished an 19 year old game that no one has played and Keats has an absolute strangle hold on me with no possible outlet. Join me for new thresholds of just how niche and obscure a game I'm willing to write for.
NOTE gendered pronouns have not been used thus far- if I get to a point where it seems absolutely necessary (unlikely), she/her will be used.

Summary
He can’t recall the last time he smiled without his heart aching with guilt. Complete strangers would see him on the street and regale him as a hero. Pro heroes offered him jobs to be their sidekicks after graduation. His friends (sans Ochako, who was already suffering her own loss and empathized with him) tried to reassure him that he’d done “the right thing.”
Tomura Shigaraki had to be stopped. But that didn’t mean Tenko Shimura deserved to die.

Summary
Berries tumble down long fingers into the palm of his hand. Tasting them is like falling down a Netherworld portal, strange and fantastical to a skeptic's eye, except the realm is a past he never lived. Like the morbid curiosity that strung him along through those initial steps into the Henge, he holds the blackberries on his tongue and tumbles down, down, into a past that never got to be.

A (potential) collection of drabbles exploring Belgae's relationship with Keats. I have absolutely no idea where it might go, so things will be added and updated accordingly.

Ellen receives a letter, Keats refuses to finish an article, and each underestimates just how obstinate the other is. Oh, and the tavern half-lives and Ellen's neighbor get a good laugh out of it all.

Summary
"Goodbye Keats. And thank you."
Those were the last words she had said to him. And he had assumed that they would be the final ones.
But destiny doesn't necessarily mean the end, however.
Keats is a man of words but his actions seem to speak for him when a certain messenger shows him more attention.

Summary
something written in 2013 for a very niche and now quite old game. a lovely combination of adventure, (mainly celtic) mythology, murder mystery and artsy dreamscapes with some strangely down to earth characters, who i'm very fond of. it's the sort of thing that ends leaving you wanting to go on, so obviously i tried to do so myself. i never completed it, though, and at this point i'd probably have to play the game again to be able to do so, so it's way on the backburner for the time being. i might never finish it, but this fandom is so infinitesimal, it might be nice for the two of you out there to read anyway. surprisingly, the tone of the story and the gameplay elements make for quite a pleasant world to write in. possibly something to do with the minimalist cast.
obviously involves spoilers, but doesn't spell them out, just assumes you know what i'm talking about. also necessarily involves some extrapolating and inventing about the end of the game and what came next, and some created in-universe folklore for the sake of a 'mission'. i think i mainly wrote this to answer some of my own questions- hence the title.
also a grubby little excuse for shipping.

It is the Messenger's duty to move between life and death. It is the Guardian's duty to follow her.
