Bokuto felt his eyes widen as he stared at the paper in front of him.
Oh no.
No no no no no.
He felt his chest squeezing, forcing it to close in on itself. He wasn’t supposed to find out this way. They were supposed to be happy and then Bokuto would let him down gently. He wasn’t supposed to find out from a letter.
Bokuto started when he heard Akaashi say
“Bokuto. Care to explain?”
He looked up into Akaashi’s eyes.
He knew that look. It made his heart clench in his chest.
He started slowly. “At first, I thought that maybe they could be your mom’s but then I know that she’s gone so I don’t think it could be her’s and I don’t know why you would still be getting her records anyways-”
“Keiji.”
Bokuto cut him off and Akaashi sucked in a sharp breath.
