Agmaer is the Dawnguard's newest recruit. As Gung-Ho he is about being here, his lack of experience leaves him doubting his dream of being a Vampire hunter, ruminating on his father's disbelief in his ability to be anything more than a farm boy. Shit, he could hardly hold a weapon right.
Isran, for his part, sees a project. A young (ish) mind to be molded and strengthened. His manners and means of doing that could use some work, but he has the right idea. He's determined to whip him into shape. If that means sending him on a dangerous search into a dungeon crawling with vampires and giant spiders, so be it.

Orthjolf can smell the salt in the sea and the must in the air as he breaths in, but there was something unfamiliar in the air. The scent of... dogs, and garlic, and mortal humans that definitely weren't thralls. Orthjolf walked further out to the shore around Castle Volkihar to look out in the distance. He squinted to see through the fog as his eyes landed on a boat filled with people wearing familiar heavy armour and a certain vampire sitting among them.The Dawnguard, and they're coming right for the castle.
