Summary
A recently excommunicated young woman named Jasmine loses her family and home when they disown her for her unforgivable apostasy. With no close friends to ask of any favors, a severe shortage of homeless shelters, and insufficient savings for an extended hotel stay, she musters her limited camping knowledge, forced to set up a tent in the middle of a nearby forest. Inadvertently, she trespasses on the outskirts of someone else's land, and a rather capacious estate at that. The mysterious owner of said land, Ruki Mukami, approaches Jasmine as she struggles to assemble her new "home" amidst a raging storm, suggesting she stay with him and his three brothers for the time being in exchange for daily housekeeping. Intrigued by his enigmatic appearance and familiar name, the young woman agrees to his offer, but little does she know she will pay the price of his supposed generosity in more than just household chores or the regular upkeep of his opulent manor.
