Toph and her father have rebuilt their relationship and the Metalbending Academy has been very successful. Only there's one piece missing. Her mother. She hadn’t seen Poppy Beifong since the day she’d left home with the Avatar. Only memories of tight hands adjusting her clothes, soft worried voices, and being confined to the estate. Could she still live at the estate in Gaoling? Toph didn't know. But she never got that "life changing field trip with Zuko." Maybe now was the time.
Toph stomped toward the academy entrance, grabbed a blank sheet of paper from the front desk, and slapped it flat onto the stone floor beside Ho Tun. “There,” she said. “Write.”
He grabbed the ink brush carefully while Penga leaned closer, curiosity getting the better of her. The Dark One remained looming nearby in silence.
“Okay,” she said. “Start with... ‘Zuko.’”
Ho Tun froze mid-brush. Penga looked horrified.
“Sifu, Toph” she whispered, “you can’t address the Fire Lord by just his name.”
Toph tilted her head. “Sure I can.”
Ho Tun hesitated before slowly writing the name.
“Now write…” Toph grinned suddenly, sharp and mischievous.
‘You owe me a field trip.’”

Summary
Everything starts when one returns to their roots. Or in Toph's case, she returns out of obligation once news of her father's funeral reaches her. The great earth bender makes her return to the Beifong family for the funeral only to be introduced to more news of what has become the flying boar. Now forced to take her father's mantle and named the success of the family business, Toph is thrown in a loop when the true state of the Beifong family revealed. Her father's past and his questionable investment seek their due. To make matters worse, an old friend has decided to visit to stay anf help against her will, stirring up old feelings she had long left behind, Avatar Aang.
Now that the avatar resides in the Beifong estate, trouble seems to come crashing in forcing Toph and Aang into a corner. Two friends are now forced to rely on one another as new foes and dangers lurk around the corner with threats and schemes for the downfall of Earthen Fire Refinery. New fights emerge testing the two along with tension from new and old feelings taking shape, putting their friendship on trial and exposing their desires.

Summary
The time has finally come for Katara, Sokka and Aang's annual trip to the Northern Water Tribe. But this year, they have an extra guest: the recently changed Crown Prince to the Fire Nation, Zuko. The trip usually includes stops at different locations, so this will give him a chance to actually see the world as it is, versus how he has been told it is. It's already stressful embarking on a month's long trip, but to add to it, people are curious to see how the two plan to get out of their forced engagement. They've been vocal about wanting to do that, at least.
But feelings have been growing that neither know what to do with, or even how to process. And people outside of their relationship are seeing things they refuse to. It brings complications for their situations. But what happens when the feelings become to much to ignore or avoid?
This is significantly longer than the previous two stories and I apologize for that! Because of that and real life stuff, this may update much slower than the other two.
