Summary
24-year-old Mavis moved from Eastern Europe to the US to follow Jonathan, her newly wedded husband. Life there is nice, a lot more than her secluded existence back in Transylvania. However, Jonathan's house belonged to his deceased mother, and his step-dad Harold owns half the place. The two men have a strained relationship, so when Harold moves in after facing health issues, Jonathan immediately suspects him of having ulterior motives. To prove it, his plan is both simple and stupid: asking Mavis to seduce the older man and push him to reveal his true motivations.
Mavis is appalled by the fact her own husband would ask her to bait her father-in-law because of his baseless paranoia, but she ends up accepting. After all, it just means she'll have to dress more seductively at home when he isn't here and be more provocative towards Harold, it's not like the situation will derail in any way.
Guess what happens next? It derails a whole bunch...

It could have been the alcohol, although Katsuki was very sure he wasn't drunk on anything but love. A smile graced his face. "Well, he hates me, for starters."
"My hero."
Katsuki shot a glare at Shoto, who looked anywhere but at him.
