They knew he was doing better, his familiar glow had returned to his face brighter than it had been during almost the entirety of the relationship, but they worried. At the beginning, his biggest fear was to lose a friend — his best friend. At the end, he felt guilty with the relief that washed over him.

Inspired by Sword Princess Cistina and the other works of Doujin Circle Gyuu, this is a very loosely plotted story featuring a schlub of a man dropped into the body of a mercenary crossbowman NPC in the depraved hentai world previously experienced from behind a computer screen. Broadly speaking, this story is a love letter to the H-RPGs I love, shuffled together into a rather generic fantasy setting. Games included so far include "Sword Princess Cistina" by Doujin Circle Gyuu, "Arle the Sorceress" by Dieselmine, and "Monica's Newlywed Life" by Acerola.
