Summary
We follow the story of Mary, a bisexual Black gyaru whose parents fully support her identity. After coming out, she’s enrolled in a newly opened high school designed to provide a safe and welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ teens from all across the United States.
Of course, it’s still high school—there’s drama, friendships, crushes, heartbreak, and all the chaos that comes with being a teenager. The school also has a number of straight allies, and Pride Month is celebrated and widely supported throughout campus.
As Mary navigates her new life, she’ll face romance, friendships, personal struggles, and challenges that test who she is and who she wants to become.

This fic was written for one of my friends in the Radiohead Circle Jerk Discord Server who requested it! They didn’t ask me to write it specifically, but it was such an interesting idea that I just had to! They also wrote a wonderful Doctor!Jonny x Patient!Thom fic here, so give them some love!!! They’re also working on fanart for this as we speak :3
This is in the same universe as the (still-unfinished) ‘Jewels’, but probably about nine months to a year before ‘Jewels’. Think them just coming off the heels of a big tour supporting ‘Pablo Honey’ in late 1993 (long hair Jonny, long blonde hair Thom).
I tried writing a transfeminine Jonny as accurately as I could describe, but I am, in fact, not a trans woman, so I’m sure there are some inaccuracies regarding transfemme gender dysphoria in it. She's not fully a trans woman, per se, but on the transfemme spectrum (think like she/they pronouns). ANYWAYS, I hope you enjoy and happy Pride Month everyone! <3333
