But things are not always what they appear to be, and Ruby starts to notice a few things that don't always make sense...

Witnessing her sister knocked out and her friend about to be slaughtered by the ruthless Adam Taurus, Ruby sprung into action and Petal Burst them far far away to a frozen wasteland neither of them knows where. Now, they're alone, in a forest infested with Grimm with no other allies except themselves - if you could even call them allies. Will they make it out there alive? Or will they tear each other apart due to their differences?

Summary
In a weird, horribly wrong twist of fate, Ruby is the leader of a team comprised of Roman Torchwick and his henchwoman Neo, a cranky man named Adam Taurus, and a snarky older teen named Mercury Black. They were all a little strange and murderous (though she doubted they really were), but they were her team, even if two of them were reforming (she thought so) criminals. Just…two of them though, right? (But then again, she got the sense she was the leader of a band of criminals anyway).
“You’re here because of why I haven’t placed you on a team yet —To start with, yes the three of you will be on a single team together. As with the rules, Miss Rose’s eyes met the two of you and so make you partners. However, there are two more people I’d like to place on your team.”
“Two? I thought it was four to a team, Sir?” Ruby asked in confusion.
“That’s true —but your team will be a special case. Professor Goodwitch, if you’d please?”
“Hello there, Red,” Roman Torchwick smirked at her. “Long time no see?"

Salem’s extermination of the Silver Eyed Warriors was thorough, so thorough Ozpin had lost hope that any remained, and feared that his reincarnation would bring new Warriors into the world only to suffer a short and bleak life. But Magic is reactive, instinctive, and the bloodline of Silver Eyed Warriors not so easily erased. He learned that when he confronted what he assumed was just another troublesome youth, but instead found the dulled silver of Ruby Rose’s eyes. And where one Hidden Warrior is found, well, there had to be others, right? Now all Ozpin had to do was keep Ruby close, and determine how on Remnant Salem missed her.
Ruby, on the other hand, had simpler goals: find her friends, no matter what. But jeez, it was hard to breathe with the headmaster breathing down her neck for some reason, and two years of skipped education sure did ruin the concept of free time. Ruby has been aged up to 18 while WBY are all 19 in this because she is going to be paired with Adam later on, also a note to all shippers: I don't wanna fucking hear it from any of you. None of the major ship pairings will be present here Because I'm still very much salty about how Adam was handled.

I had originally planned on making this a platonic story, but ended up going this route. By the way Ruby is 18 at this point which is why there is no underage tag on this.
