    I found there was no crossovers between LOTR and SDV, so I thought why not try to write something myself.

    Summary

    “You may be the one who can mend what has long been broken,” Elrond said. “Not by gentleness alone. Do not mistake me. Some wounds must be opened before they can be cleansed. Some poison must be drawn forth though the patient curses the healer for her knife.”

    Reniriel gave him a dry look. “You make this sound charming.”

    ~*~*~

    Reniriel is a half-elven healer and messenger who wanders the wild roads of Middle-earth, carrying herbs, letters, and whispered tidings between kingdoms in a darkening age. With her long copper-red hair, keen elven features, and the green-and-brown leathers of a woodland traveler, she is often mistaken for something out of old songs and legends.

    Trained in healing and skilled with bow and blade, Reniriel journeys through forests, mountains, and war-torn lands to aid the sick and wounded wherever she is needed. Though gentle by nature, there is a quiet strength within her; a courage that drives her to walk dangerous roads others fear to tread. Between fading realms and rising shadow, Reniriel becomes both a wandering light of hope and a witness to the changing fate of Middle-earth.

    Maglor “wandered ever in pain and regret.” This is a story about that journey, from the dawn of the 2nd Age to the present day.

    Or

    Tolkien had opinions on perpetual regret states. They weren’t particularly happy ones.

    Summary

    Sauron regained the One Ring and had his eyes on the three elven rings. However, when he tried to retrieve Vilya from a wounded Elrond at the gate of Rivendell, he was met with a little unexpected trouble. The ring had bound with her bearer and refused to submit to the dark lord. Sauron needed Elrond to reign Vilya's power. The elven lord surrendered himself in exchange for a ceasefire of attacks on Rivendell.
    With the precious little time purchased by Elrond's sacrifice, Aragorn has to find out a way to defeat the more-powerful-than-ever dark lord and save his foster father before it is too late.

    Summary

    Here is something Everettian quantum mechanics is very clear on, no matter what the kids on TikTok tell you: crossing from one universe to another would be very bad for both of them. The universe is kind of supposed to be a closed-off thing, and when it turns into an open thing, it has a tendency to spill its organs into the nothingness between worlds. We wouldn't know if this happened until it was too late. Elves, who are much more sensitive to changes in the fabric of the universe, can tell. What they don't know is who caused it, how bad the damage is, or if Damien, the accidental tenth walker, is secretly the most powerful evil being they've encountered yet. (Spoiler: he's not.)

    This is my attempt to semi-scientifically explain how, within the constraints of Tolkien's soft magic system, a tenth walker from our world might cross over. I'm being as book-compliant as possible. Expect a lot of messed up effects of magic, realistic representation of the tenth walker experience (0/5 do not recommend), and the extreme effects of the quote "elves are terrific; they beget terror" on my psyche and writing. I have 11 chapters backlogged and all of them planned so you can expect this fic to be finished!

    Summary

    Aragorn knew the cadence of her breathing now. Knew when it changed. Knew when she did not sleep. He told himself it was no more than sense—tactical, necessary—for the road ahead, for a leader to mark what might fail. Yet it did not sit in him as a thought alone. At times it came as a stir low in his chest, a softening that had no rightful place there. He had no right—not to dwell on the way she bore hurt without complaint, not to recall how she had shaken beneath his grip, not to remember the weight of her against him when pain had broken through her composure.

    He reminded himself that she was his friend’s sister, that she had chosen the road willingly, not as one of his rangers; and yet his mind kept placing her within his care as surely as he placed the hobbits, because that was what he did: he measured danger, he counted lives, he set himself between the vulnerable and the dark.
    ~~~
    Halbarad's sister, Elnúmen, is a fierce ranger caught between her love for her brother and her duty to her captain and king. Will she realise what she feels for her chieftain before it is too late?
    An Aragorn / OFC Tenth walker story that follows the books!
    Summary
    Bilbo Baggins set out on an adventure with thirteen dwarves, expecting danger, treasure, and perhaps a dragon.
    What he didn’t expect was the attention he would attract along the way. From warriors to kings, more than a few men find themselves captivated by the hobbit’s charm, kindness, and everything that makes him uniquely Bilbo.
    As the journey unfolds, Bilbo discovers that some adventures are far more complicated than he ever imagined.
    Summary
    All it began after the Battle of the Five Armies. When Sauron returned to Mordor. Our hero Talion was sacrificed by Sauron’s pawns for him to gain power. But something happened. He was cursed, banished from death. He ended up with Celebrimbor a wraith the creator of the rings of power.
    Together they fought against the great evil. But in the end, he was betrayed. Celebrimbor along with Eltariel betrayed him. Only because Celebrimbor wanted to rule all Middle Earth. Talion didn’t want to trade one dark lord for another. That is why he refused to help them.
    They left him for dead, but he survived. He wears one of the nine rings of power, but still after all the years he didn’t succumb to the Ring of Power. He repulses the army of Sauron and gives people of Middle Earth time to prepare for their last stand against their common enemy.
    This story isn’t cannon unfortunately. I love Shadow of Mordor and War. So, I decided to bring our hero to official cannon and to alter the future of some of our favourite characters.
    None of the original canon belongs to me, only the parts I altered and the story that arose from my alterations.
    Btw english isn't my first language. So, sorry for any mistakes.
    Summary
    Fourteen original philosophical dialogues set among the characters of Tolkien’s legendarium — from the first light of Arda to the darkness of the Void.
    These are not adventure stories. They are conversations between characters who carry great burdens, who have made irreversible choices, who have known glory and ruin, wisdom and folly, grief and unexpected grace.
    Gandalf speaks of weariness. Galadriel of restraint and the temptation to control what she loves. Aragorn of feeling inadequate to the crown he must wear. Saruman of the first small compromise that reshaped his entire path. Frodo wonders who he might become beyond his wounds. Elrond thinks about what it means to lead for thousands of years — and what he loses when the burden is finally lifted. Even Melkor, in his rebellion, reveals something uncomfortable but necessary about freedom, pride, and the fragile line between wanting to create and needing to control.
    Each chapter concludes with reflection questions — gentle invitations to consider how its themes intersect with your own experience.
    Tolkien’s world has always belonged, in some deep sense, to those who love it. This is one reader’s attempt to give something back.
    Summary
    What if King Isildur listened to Elrond and threw the One Ring into the fires of Mordor?
    What if Sauron were destroyed for good?
    Middle-Earth wouldn't have or be much to tell a grand story, or would it?
    Palmira Galwen knew she was different; she was an elf raised by Men, with her pale skin, bright eyes, and long white hair. She had always known she was not a human, but an elf.
    But she always believed that the truth would be the one thing she could never truly have, and she was content with that… living her life with her adoptive mother and father in Gondor, with young Denethor by her side as her dear friend...
    That is, until a hunt reveals a wizard, and a troubling discovery leads to an adventure being formed... and Palmira could not resist.
    Maybe without the Ring of Power, a story can still be told.
    And this story is about 13 dwarves, a Wizard, an Elf of two worlds, and a Halfling… on a journey that no one in Middle-earth will ever forget and talk of for generations to come…
    For High School teacher Ann Harper, fanfiction is just a way to relieve stress and enjoy the world of Middle-earth. That all changes one day when two particular dwarves are catapulted into her home and her world, leading her to an adventure that she certainly could have imagined, but would have never dreamed possible.
    Summary
    Why she was thrust into Middle-earth, she has no idea. How she became a hobbit, she hasn't the slightest. But what Tabi does know is that she is in Buckland at the very start of the Conspiracy. She must hide her knowledge of the future from the clever Meriadoc Brandybuck, dodge Saruman's men, and survive long enough to get back home...
    Tabi made a pitiful whimper and chugged the last of her brandy. She took a deep breath. “The first one I ever read…was about…” she looked above Merry’s head to the portrait of Bilbo Baggins. Merry followed her eyes, turning to look.
    “What does that portrait have to do with your story?” he asked, in a low voice. He either half guessed or was getting annoyed with her temporizing.
    Like a Band-Aid. “The first story I ever read about hobbits was about Bilbo Baggins: his journey with Thorin Oakenshield and the company of Thirteen Dwarves.”
    Merry stared at her. Her words were true. He was positive. He crossed his arms, then uncrossed them before settling on rubbing his face. He was agitated. Did she know—
    “I know about the Ring, Merry,” she sighed...
