The Canadian Cartel, the group Micro hangs around. It doesn't help the fact that Thomas and Micro are seated next to each other that semester.
AKA, Thomas gets sidetracked, learns more than he thought he would, and just maybe, he learns how to love on the way. It's too bad that the world seems to have it out for Thomas—Micro is more protected than he thinks.

Sofia has crossed paths with Percy Grant precisely the once—when she held him at gunpoint and threatened to bury him alive if he ever tried to fuck around with Jason's inexplicable affection for him. Percy had taken it with cursing, bitching, and a lack of grace that bordered on suicidal. Sofia wouldn't call him the ideal party guest.
But Jason likes him. Somehow, despite the implicit and explicit threats to his life, Percy hasn't made any moves to leave. Jason hasn't made any moves to let him. Which means Sofia has to make adjustments. Allowances. Figure out how in the hell to account for a particularly mouthy and obnoxious blind spot, which begins, as many things do, with carefully controlled observation.
Jason is still watching her, justifiably wary. Sofia just smiles.
"Could be fun," she says.
