Summary
Follows the story of 6 unlikely allies who find themselves thrown together by fate in the cruel and harsh Sixth-World of Shadowrun. These are the narrative adventures of my TTRP group, in our campaign. A new chapter is written most weeks. Because this gets published to my players, it's written from an in-game perspective, with imperfect knowledge - there's very few instances where you read something that wasn't directly observed by them, and as a result sometimes something weird and a little unexplained can happen.
Most of the chapters are probably PG-12 - but it is a harsh world, and gun battles and brutal melee is definitely a thing. There's also some adult content and some scenes of attempted kidnapping and rape of some of the team, and there's a few instances of torture. It's all (hopefully) in context for the story, and I try to keep it implied or not too heavy on the detail - enough so you know what's going on, without being gratuitous.

Following the brutal murder of Dien St Verna, her foster daughter- Dien St Alan- truly disoriented by this incident, begins to see horrid hallucinations and gets labelled a schizophrenic. As incomprehensible things begin to take place, Dien St Alan quickly realizes that this case- and many cold ones that came before it- are beyond logic and reason. Dismissing her curiosity, she vows to never associate herself with this strange, illogical world… but how long will that vow truly last as catastrophes are thrown at her left and right.
She could endure it by herself, although when said-catastrophes begin to affect those she’s grown to value, she resolves to face them head-on and venture into the illogical world of the ‘frowning doodles’- as she named them.
However, Dien St Alan begins to discern her foster parents’ insolent and possessive behaviour towards her held more significance than mere callousness… and perhaps they weren’t as ‘normal’ as they’d once seemed. -
