Ellie Rodriguez was born on Terra or Earth and was abducted as a toddler when her family was on a camping trip in the woods. The creatures that abducted her experimented on her until a raccoon and a talking tree, named Rocket and Groot, raided their ship, taking a nine year old Ellie with them.
The experiments that were done on Ellie left many scars, and she was given the ability to harness electricity while also being able to make force fields around herself, preparing her to become a weapon that her abductors could abuse.
Because of her childhood, Ellie doubted that Rocket and Groot actually wanted her around, little did she know how much she would actually mean to a group of grumpy adults.

Summary
What do you do when a prophecy claims that the end of the world can only be stopped by sacrificing people that have been marked by fate? What do you do when those sacrifices are children?
The country is torn by the question of whether it is fate or choice that can save the world. Lit is a sorceress on the side of those trying to fight the prophecy and protect those that are marked by fate. She had heard rumors that her mentor had joined the other side, but she didn't realize it would put them face to face on opposite sides of the battlefield.
This is a story I wrote for myself that somehow developed a plot along the way.
