Summary

This is Mimic's philosophy, a simple binary between the naive and the ruthless. But as things go increasingly awry for the octopus, the ghosts of his past become impossible to ignore. The only way forward will be to confront his wrongdoings, but will he be strong enough to bear the weight of his sins?

Summary
Quahaug has seen the war of Norzelia end a thousand different times in a thousand different ways. First, it was the search for Centralia, followed by the unification under Hyzante, and then the rise of Glenbrook and subsequent betrayal of Aesfrost. Two years after the war ends each time, he goes to sleep only to awaken the morning after Glenbrook's fall. Again and again, Norzelia descends into chaos and war, and Quahaug becomes a passive participant in history once more. After fifty cycles, something finally cracks, and this time, Quahaug finds himself on the day of Frederica's arrival in House Wolffort. Uncertain and worried as to how this has happened, he heads to House Wolffort early and realizes that this may be the chance he's been hoping for each time the world resets. Determined to change the course of history by saving Dragan's life, Quahaug sets out to fight against destiny itself, hoping that this ending will finally be something worth keeping.
(In which Quahaug has seen the clock reset each time the War of Norzelia ends in disaster, and he's determined to make sure the peace lasts this time.)

Summary
I do not own Sonic the Hedgehog, the Sonic IDW comics characters or any other character or place mentioned herein. SEGA does. This is simply for fun.
Doctor Eggman decides to test the Metal virus, not on Windmill village, but the area around Tails' workshop. This changes a lot more than you would expect. Including, but not limited to: Tangle finally admits to herself she's in love with a certain sniper (but it takes her quite a long time to admit such XD), Mimic is slowly infected with *gasp* morals, Belle finds her place and Shadow finds happiness.
And because this got dramatic in my last fic: Tangle, Jewel and Whisper are aged up because when I started reading T&W and IDW I thought the girls were in their twenties. I literally didn't find out their canon ages until I was four multi-chapter fics deep. If you're not comfortable with their AU ages that is perfectly alright and you're more than welcome to skip this fic, just please don't lose it in the comments. I've tagged the age change and put it in the summary, so please mind the tags, stay safe and had a good day! :)

The lone protector of the future, Silver the Hedgehog.

Why was he given the fleeting reward of seeing the good future he helped bring about, only to eventually come face-to-face with yet another apocalyptic world? Would he ever reach the end of his quest to bring peace - real, lasting peace to his time?
These were all questions that Silver never truly considered. He knew his purpose. He knew what he had to do in order to fix his timeline, again and again. His determination would not waver, no matter the odds.
Yet, with the newest apocalypse that had arrived, the more Silver learned about it, the more he would need to solve the mystery of "himself". And learn of the answers that were beyond his imagination...
