Summary
After their parents perish in a terrible fire (which means were killed), the Quagmire triplets are sent to live with the deplorable Count Olaf, who will stop at nothing to make their lives a misery and steal their sapphire fortune. Meanwhile, Klaus Baudelaire struggles to accept the death of his parents and older sister, while also having to raise his infant sister Sunny and deal with living in a miserable school.
It will be the start of a very long, very depressing and very difficult journey for these young children, and I suggest you look away. I wish I could.

For enrichment of the author purposes, this doesn't directly follow either book or tv canon, but some Frankenstein of the two. A lot (not all) of the major plot points and characters will be from the tv show, but a lot of setting and timeline details will be from the books. Summary
In-ho didn’t need the confirmation of his age to know that this wasn’t his brother. It may be Jun-ho, but it wasn’t the excitable little boy he had been walking with not even an hour prior. Yet, In-ho couldn’t help but feel somewhat uncomfortable when he responded with “32. It’s 2024.”

Bile rose in In-ho’s throat, though it may just have been seasickness. That was twenty-two years into the future.
What on earth had happened?
Or: In-ho suddenly finds himself in the year 2024, with no little brother in sight. Lost at sea and completely alone, his only chance in finding his younger brother is to team up with a thirty-two year old Jun-ho, but In-ho can't shake the feeling that he's hiding something.
