It was Alastor that broke the stillness in the room.
He shook his head, blinking his eyes as his senses came back to him. The world seeming incomprehensibly dark after what he witnessed.
The room came into focus little by little, from the general outline of the furniture and the dimensions of the lounge, to the looks of alarm on everyone's faces.
“Alastor?” Charlie said, her voice quiet as if afraid of disturbing the silence. “What just happened?”
Good question.
“… I think I just met God.”
“What!?” Everyone yelled.
OR.
God wanted to meet Their future son-in-law.

“Does Angel Dust tend to nest in his suite?” Alastor asked without preamble.
“Why’re you askin’ me?” Husk asked gruffly, briefly trying to feign ignorance. A single raised brow from Alastor was all it took to squash that recalcitrance out of him, his shoulders and wings dropping. “Yeah, yeah – fine. But why’re you askin’ me now? It ain’t like Angel’s gonna steal his own shit and pretend like it weren’t him. Besides, he ain’t anywhere close to bein’ in heat. It’s not him, boss.”

Items have been going missing around the hotel. Nothing of any value or consequence - just people's personal effects. Regardless of their importance, Alastor cannot simply stand by and let somebody rob folks in his territory, right under his nose.
He sets out to catch the thief - and picks up a less than useful helper along the way in the form of one miniature monarch - but comes up empty handed. Empty handed, that is, until later that evening.
With his past racing to catch up to him things and quickly spiraling out of his control, he might find that less than useful helper has a use after all.
