Summary
Some believe that Tony’s first real friend was Rhodey. What if that is wrong. What if he had a childhood bestie named Mary. What if together life was always interesting. Then one day she has to go away? Friends ‘til the end no matter what right? She does her best to be there for him and he for her. Then one day she asks Tony for a favor. One reason behind it is just in case the danger of her past is still out there who better than the Merchant of Death who can be the protection for her future family (just in case).
It’s a huge life changing favor, one that he thinks is no big deal until it becomes his whole world…
This starts a series where he sees Mary in Peter while everyone sees only Tony. An AU universe where the actions of Mary (and their childhood friendship) will give him a family he will always fight (love, live, and die) for.

What if Dae Won (from S6 Ep25) had needed a little more convincing before allowing Steve aka Evan Raintree (the much-needed pilot) to take his partner Danny aka David Carson (pilot’s much needed mechanic) on the job?
Just a fun added scene of ‘what if’ before things go to hell in the episode. (Don’t pretend you don’t know what kinda hell I’m talking about. There have been a hundred wonderful, emotional fix-its…This is not one of them.) A ‘what if’ Steve decides to ‘keep cover’ by pretending to be overly possessive/jealous boyfriend. Knowing Danny wouldn’t mind since he had once told Steve he would have gone with they were a couple so they wouldn’t break cover during one of their other recent cases. Cos, Steve just had to break cover much to Danny’s disgust. (Steve holding Mr. Pickles, rings any bells?)
Anyway, let’s say Steve decides to convince Dae Won that Evan and David are a couple. (A couple of idiots in love!) What if this opens Steve’s eyes to something, he hadn’t known about his Danno? -

Summary
Summary: Danny never thought he’d be forced to share his painful past with his team. It looks like he has too when the team is called out to a crime scene. Especially, when he sees the body of a young teen with a brand on his upper thigh that looks so much like his own.
Warnings: This is an emotional story that deals with child abuse and sexual abuse. Deals with past rape/noncon. Deals with pedophiles who should be shot in their groins. A pedophile ring/ hints of human trafficking. This should make anyone with a heart upset and uncomfortable. I’m not a great writer and I’m not all that certain I should be posting this. For my heart was hurting while writing this and hopefully I was in no way disrespectful. Just know the villains will be caught and/or dealt with. Our heroes will win. Danny and Steve will end up together. Now, if done right, hopefully you will enjoy, if not sorry. There are other fantastic fanfic writers out there, so go and enjoy. Yes, I give you permission. Hell, I might go off and join you. Also, the monsters talked about in this fic are humans. Nothing supernatural to see here.

Jason was sick of people telling him how he felt. ‘You don’t need us anymore,’ Artemis had told him, as if saying it would make it true. As if Jason needed someone to justify keeping them around. But three weeks back in Gotham and all Jason felt was fucking bored and lonely.
It was a relief, then, when some random New Yorker was thrown into his living room through a portal straight out of some LSD daydream.
Finally, something interesting to deal with.
Cue some wild family misunderstandings, criminal conspiracies and cults.
Because there’s always a goddamn cult.
