Summary
A rewrite of episode four and what happens afterward.
“Well yeah,” Shane said, his voice took the slightly bratty tone that Rozanov loves. “You keep your house cold as shit.” This made Rozanov burst out laughing. He went towards his dresser to pull out a hoodie. He pauses as he sees Shane’s perfectly folded outfit settle neatly on the wood. He lets a small smile cross his lips within the privacy his back has provided from Shane. Like in every piece of clothing Rozanov has ever had the luxury of peeling off of Shane’s body a neat S.H. was written on the label of Shane’s jacket. He was about to toss an old CCM sweatshirt to Shane when a different one caught his eye. The team had got them this year, they were black with the Boston Bear’s logo in yellow. The hoodie was branded with Rozanov’s number and last name on it. The thought of Hollander, Montreal’s and the NHL’s golden boy, wearing his name did something to him. I guess he didn’t care that Shane was a hockey god, the only thing he cared about was the fact that in a few moments he was going to see Shane wearing his last name. Something he couldn’t let himself dream of.

Summary
What if Cliff Marleau finds out who Jane is by accidentally walking in on them together?
“We haven’t been out since All Stars. Tell Jane to give me one night. I need my wing man ba–,” Marleau’s voice cuts out. He locks eyes with Shane, and then his eyes bounce to Ilya’s. Shane’s body lights on fire, and he hates the way Marleau's eyes on him make him almost tumble over the edge. He is almost blissed out enough not to freak out.
Almost.
“Fuck,” Shane says. He starts to move his hands and tries to get Ilya to stop. Well, tries might be an exaggeration, but his brain is screaming at him that this is wrong. “Ilya,” Shane says, but it comes out as more of a moan than anything else. Shane can feel Marleau’s eyes on him, and can feel them drawing up and down his body. Shane opens his mouth to object, and two of Ilya’s fingers slip in, and Shane sucks them down without hesitation.

“I’m not sure,” Shane says honestly. “I just didn’t expect a man to fall onto me as I left the bathroom.” He explains truthfully that something he said made Ilya burst out in laughter. His head tips back, and Shane is starstruck. This man is the most beautiful thing in the world, and the way his throat contracts when he laughs makes Shane’s blood spike.
“You’re funny, Shane Hollander,” Rozanov says, and now Shane is panicked for a different reason.

He remembers their last hook up, a month or so before this. He thinks that’s where his brain had started to go on the fritz. When he’d just finished blowing Ilya in the shower and Ilya had hit him with ‘You need to get laid, Hollander. Waiting for a quick fuck every couple of months is not healthy.’ Shane had acted all indignant and puffy, but only because Ilya had hit a bit too close to home with that, and he’d been so cavalier about it too. Because yeah, maybe Shane had never made a conscious decision to do it, but he felt like he only existed in short hour long snippets when he could slip away and be with Ilya. And that fucking terrified him.
Then because Ilya was Ilya, he had to one, two punch him by saying, ‘I have ruined you. No one else would do.’ And Shane had to lock that deep in the caverns of his mind because of how true those words rang. He didn’t want it to be true, but it was.
“I think, maybe, this whole thing is starting to mean something different to me.”
