Summary
Madara leans in closer, her hair tickling Kohaku’s face. “You better not be done yet,” she breathes. “It’s awfully rude to leave a girl hanging, you know?”

Summary
In the time it takes them to walk over to the cafe and order their food, Kohaku counts two pats on the head, one pat on the shoulder, one (definitely unnecessary) guiding hand on the small of her back, and two more hugs. It strikes her as annoying, but not particularly abnormal; Madara has always been the touchy type, even if Kohaku knows she only does it to get a rise out of people.
But it’s the last hug — the way Madara presses her chest against Kohaku seemingly on purpose, eyes narrowing in that cooly amused way of hers again when Kohaku’s ears redden — that makes Madara might be aiming for a bigger rise out of her than usual.

Summary
It all started with Rinne bursting through the door while Niki was frowning into the cabinet and wondering what to make for dinner that night. Well, technically it wasn’t “bursting through” so much as it was “unlocking it with the key Niki gave her”, but Rinne entering rooms always feels like something of a violent intrusion.
This time was no different: she stormed into the kitchen, yanking Niki out of her meal-planning-induced reverie, and set a bottle down on the counter with more force than was probably necessary. “Nikiiiii! Let’s get drunk and nasty.”
"Huh?"
