Through the combination of Medic's experiments and Soldier's shenanigans, the team start to go through some discomforting symptoms that lead for them to develop a new beastly problem...

Basically a Monster-esque AU I've been developing, the lads all get these beastly animal forms that they shift in and out of thanks to Medic and Soldier. Now they gotta deal with it until it can be fixed... if it can.
This is mostly going to serve as an establishing story for this AU to just sum up how this thing happened. Hopefully when this is done I can do just one shots to surround the AU and focus more on specific characters instead of juggling multiple perspectives.

Summary
Medic's job is not easy. He has grown to expect being treated badly by most of his team...but not by his lover or his best friend. Betrayed and hurt, he lets his pettiness take over and goes to confront Engineer, who had left him alone with a team that was more interested in made up score keeping than doing their job.
Unfortunately, his little tantrum is badly timed, and the poor doctor ends up trapped inside his own past. Before the team loses their current doctor's mind, as it is actively blending with that of his younger version, Engineer comes up with a plan. Mixing Heavy's memories with Medic's, they send the doctor to Siberia, where he seeks out the younger version of the love of his life. With his fingers crossed that this version of Heavy will also keep the doctor safe (your mind makes it real and all that!), Engineer has to hurry and clean up the mess of Medic's own making.

Summary
It was a well-known fact around the office that Stanley Rider and Nathan Parable… didn’t get along so well. The men could often be seen in the breakroom bickering over every topic under the sun- whether it was work-related or otherwise. Even the higher-ups knew not to pair them together on projects, and most tried to distance the two as much as possible, in order to keep things moving smoothly.

Stanley and Nathan don't like each other very much, but one time after an argument, one of Stanley's coworkers called Stanley a name. It was not a very nice name, but it's not like Stanley was around to hear it.
Nathan was though.
And he's not a fan of people who aren't him insulting Employee #427.
