    Wemmbu was his closest friend. Both would goof around, showing their most vulnerable side to each other.. and, just, being the closest best friends in general!

    But, then again, a paying job was a paying job, and he kinda needed the money— and look, as long as the very wounded and beat up villain in front of his counter tipped, he was willing to overlook the fact that he was getting blood on Egg's newly mopped floor. He was not above bribery.
