Summary
1953 - Strange things happen when Tom Riddle is called to Azkaban. Before he knows it, he is involved in a murder case. The Aurors have zeroed in on him as a suspect. No matter how often he proclaims his innocence, he falls on deaf ears. Only one listens to him: Albus Dumbledore. That is not nearly enough - to get Tom's head out of the noose, they have to find the real culprit. Tom also knows that Dumbledore won't do anything without a good price, especially not for him. Oktober 1975 - Den diesjährigen Lehrer für Verteidigung gegen die dunklen Künste hat es bereits dahingerafft, was an und für sich ja nicht so tragisch wäre, hätte Hogwarts nicht ein gewaltiges Imageproblem. Dumbledore beschließt, das Problem an der Wurzel zu packen. Zur selben Zeit muss Tom Riddle feststellen, dass seine Todesser ihren Eltern noch immer am Rockzipfel hängen und sich von ihnen viel zu oft herumkommandieren lassen. Um diese alteingesessene Generation an Reinblütern, allen voran Armand Malfoy, besser erpressen zu können, nimmt er den freien Lehrerposten in Hogwarts an, da er sich von dort aus einen besseren Einfluss auf seine Jünger erhofft. Ein großer Fehler? Hogwarts‘ marode Mauern drohen über ihm zusammenzubrechen. Schon bald fühlt sich Tom wie ein Einäugiger unter Blinden und dazu gezwungen, den scheiternden Haufen namens Hogwarts zusammenzuhalten. Die Lehre, die er daraus ziehen sollte? „Scheiter heiter!"

Summary
