Summary
The clans have won against Bloodclan and have reclaimed their homes. Fireheart and her kits have settled into Windclan and there is peace. But peace is never certain and twolegs are unstoppable creatures. Somethings are just destined to happen. Now it’s up to the newly named Hawkpaw to spread the fire to fresh lands and ignite new bonds or burn the world down trying.
This is the sequel to A Fire's Stripes, you will likely need to read that fic first to understand this one. I'd also recommend having read the first and second warriors cats series minimum, as this fic somewhat follows the canon timeline. To the best of my ability anyway. Hope you all enjoy. :)

Warrior Cat One Shots:
The Erin's do a wonderful job writing the series, no doubt about it. But in the case of writing a world spanning multiple series, some events never get a proper explanation or are just left really vague. That's where I come in. I take some moments in the series that could use some developing or moments that I am curious about and write a short one-shot hoping to explain, at the very least, my interpretation of how things could have gone. Dave has known Aaron for long enough to know that, when he calls and asks if Dave can come help out for a few months while they're down a couple agents, Aaron must really be drowning. Why wouldn't he be? Jason's resigned (which is a story Dave still needs to get the rest of), there's only one experienced agent on the team plus one green field agent and two 'other people' he's not sure what they do, and another agent was recently shot in her home during a case that seems to have put the entire team through the wringer. Sure, he can go back to the BAU for a few months; by the holidays, he'll be back to working on his next book and going on his speaking tours. What's the worst that can happen?
OR: A Season 2-divergence AU/fixit where Gideon left in the wake of the FIsher King case instead of leaving after Frank.
