“Is this another jest of yours?”
Yatta shook his head, tilting his head like a confused puppy. The genuine confusion surprised Soulvester as much as it also confused him. Had all this flirting and previous joking led up to this?
“No? Is it supposed to be?”
Yatta replied, hoping the answer was a no. After all, they had gotten closer than ever before, was it all really for a punchline? Is that what Soulvester wanted it to be? Yatta seemed to dim at these thoughts, tails slowing their wagging.
At the sight of the jester seeming to be saddened, Soulvester realized that question may have come off wrong. In the hopes to cheer Yatta up, he tentatively used a hand to hold Yatta's hip, the other gently touching his hair. Immediately, Yatta lit up with this slight advance, his tails wagging full force again.
“Perhaps it shan't”

An endlessly looping office in a building that shouldn’t exist. A voice telling a story about a man named Stanley - never deviating, never changing, coughing painfully in a way that proves it’s no recording. Something isn’t quite right here: Stanley is missing memories, with no idea how he arrived or how to leave.
