“Such a needy little thing, aren’t’cha?” The words are soft, almost like he’s talking to himself. He comes closer, though, padding from behind the couch so he can settle himself on top of Dazai.
“Yours, though,” Dazai whispers smugly as Chuuya clambers on top of him, his smile stretching so wide that his jaw aches. Chuuya’s hand finds it’s way to his hair once again, his fingers softly caressing his drooping ears.
“Mhm, you are. My needy little kitty.” His voice drops into a sultry octave, his bright eyes piercing through Dazai’s skull. He arches his back, pushing up against the man on top of him in an effort to get him tangled closer.

🔞 When the boss of the Port Mafia decides he needs some peace and quiet, he sends his loyal guard dog, Chuuya Nakahara, all the way to France. The solitude is glorious—right up until Chuuya comes home and makes it abundantly clear how unhappy he is about being sent away. Dazai quickly learns his lesson.

Summary
Two years after Dazai's death, Chuuya is the Boss of the Port Mafia, and things are going as well as anyone can expect. Until they're not.
"What--?" Chuuya manages, the word thick and throaty, too wet, too obvious. He blinks: what he's seeing doesn't change.
"Chuuya-kun, please come in," Mori says, conversationally. "If you could close the door behind him, Dazai-kun."
Chuuya's head whips around; Mori at the desk had been enough of a shock, but Dazai, curled up lazily in an armchair with a book, looking like a petulant housecat as he stands up, still covered in bandages with one eye visible, is enough to make Chuuya feel almost nauseated.
"Chuuya," Dazai says, the word a sing-song and nothing like the monotone way he'd said it when he was the Boss, "come on."
