Katsuki's quirk means that his body runs HOT. And Izuku is a cuddler. In winter, everything is perfect, but in summer... it's not.
So instead of just finding any normal solution to their very singular problem, every summer they break up so they don't cuddle and boil in the heat, and then they get back together as soon as the weather cools down again.
Of course, no one else has any idea why the two boys are acting so weird at the summer training camp.

Aizawa is most likely exasperated, but Izuku’s just worried about the current competition and what broadcasting it on Live TV does.
