Eddie didnt fall asleep immediately though, googling the demisexual and gay flags. He saved the photos, taking a deep breath, putting his phone on the charger with shaky hands.
The next day at work, he found Ravi alone doing inventory. "Ravi?" Eddie asked quietly, Ravi looking at him curiously.
"Could- Could you make me an armband with these?" He asked shakily, showing Ravi the flags on his phone.
It took Ravi a moment before his eyes widened. "Wait," he said quietly, Eddie smiling terrified.

Eddie shrugs, like it’s the most reasonable thing in the world. “I mean, yeah. I don’t feel like overexplaining it.”
He gestures to his face. “Also, I have big, beautiful brown eyes.”
Hen and Karen share a look.
It’s going to be a disaster.
It’s going to be very entertaining.

“I have to go to a wedding,” he says, voice tight. Eddie’s eyebrows scrunch in confusion. That’s it?
“You love weddings.”
“Not this one. It’s in Pennsylvania. With my mom and dad. For a whole week,” he says, frustration evident in his tone.
Well that makes a lot more sense. Buck at home for a whole week? Brutal.
“Maddie, Chim and Jee are going, right?” Eddie asks.
Buck nods jerkily. “Mmhm. They are. I-It’s just that my parents are expecting me to bring someone and when I don’t, because who the fuck would I ask to suffer for a week for me, they’re going to make comments about how I am going to be alone forever and it-it’s just already on my nerves and I still have nearly three weeks before I even have to go,” he rushes out, abandoning his coffee on the table as he paces back and forth in the kitchen.
“I’ll come with you,” Eddie offers. He blinks – he hadn’t exactly thought that one through, but he doesn’t regret it, doesn’t want to take it back. Buck freezes where he’s at, body still as a statue as his head whips to look at Eddie.

Slowly, a hoarse laugh bubbles up. “You know what happens if I die? What happens to Christopher?”
More silence.
“He goes to Buck.”

Before Buck’s mind can formulate the undeniable answer in words, a burning sensation engulfs his forearm. For a split, irrational second, he thinks maybe he’s having a heart attack — but no, it’s the wrong arm, and the pain is too low anyway. He races over to his kitchen sink, planning to douse the flames in cold water, but when he looks down, he almost does have a heart attack.
Because there are two black bands maybe half an inch apart circling his forearm just below his elbow. Two black bands that definitely weren’t there when he left Eddie’s house fifteen minutes earlier.
“No,” Buck whispers, staring down at his arm in something like horror. “Oh, no.”

So yes, Bobby is still alive.It's Christmas time! The 118 are on the clock like usual for the Holidays and things between Buck and Eddie's relationship couldn't be going better - if anything the 118 has noticed it's almost going too well. Not that they're trying to ruin it or anything but the romantic tension is practically suffocating the team so Hen and Chimney take some initiative - with Bobby and Ravi's minor assistance.
OR
In order to help Buck and Eddie get together Hen and Chimney decorate the firehouse with an outrageous amount of mistletoe on every door frame, window, cabinet, cieling. Everywhere - in hopes of getting Buck and Eddie caught in an actual romantic moment.
