Summary
It started off as a normal day. Until Maomao accidentally rescues an innocent baby from execution.

What started off as a debt of gratitude transforms into a dangerous game of politics and passion. Summary
A trip to nearby villages in search of information about smallpox results in guards being let down and Maomao reaping the risks of it. Maomao and Jinshi are forced to get to the heart of their feelings for one another as they settle into a new normal, all while they try and determine the offender and motive behind this latest mishap. Plus, Chue is still coming to terms with her new circumstances, and her new circumstances really just feel like being a lot less capable than she was before.
