Summary
Vegeta, from the moment he submitted his application to the first millisecond of his shift, already knew he hated his job.
Sure, it was a stereotypical sentiment. Everybody hated their job, and Vegeta tended to say he hated everything, It wasn't really special to groan endlessly about. He had already exerted every other place that was hiring just to avoid resorting to this, but due to his not-so-squeaky-clean-record, all he had been responded back with once they scanned background checks on him were polite declines to being outright ignored. Leaving only this convenience store his only option.

Summary
Two Grenoulians—one female, one male—hunched over completely near his left at a table slapping body-to-body with skin and sweat. The sounds being made were similar to that of reared cattle animals inside a cage. It wasn't just those two either. Most of the Grenoulians, all from the political administrators, ministers and envoys, to their networking aristocrats and patricians, were participating (and very clearly passionately) in a widespread orgy.
Frieza wasn't angry at what the state of the banquet had turned into. The situation was too absurd, too unreal, to be crossed at. In a way, it was a little amusing.

“There could've been any better way to do this. Are you just that horrendous at flirting?”
Bulma was at her doorstep, in the middle of the night, facing downward at what was an absolutely foul-smell that spread through her house. It felt like someone fused burnt plastic with road-kill.
Which it was, in a way.

“That is, inarguably, the most ugliest thing I have ever seen in all my life.”
Vegeta said with a sour face sitting across the lofty couch next to Bulma with his arms wrapped around his chest. Bra was sitting, legs crossed right in front of the TV, swaying along and singing with the ear-grating beat of the music.
“It's a children's show,” Bulma replied, eyeing Vegeta dryly. “Of course you're not going to like it, you're a grown man. Plus, no way this is the peak of ugliness to you. You were in the Frieza Force.”

Summary
It's very nice to have these small, few little moments every once in a while.
No unexpected explosion popping through the next city or two, no new batches of injured and dead sweeping across in piles and most importantly (at least to her) was that Trunks could finally stay put and still for as long as she could keep him inside their house.
