Summary
She should have let him die.
It would have been easier. Kinder, maybe, to the shape the world was supposed to keep.
But Sakura Haruno has never been good at walking away from the wounded.
The dead are not dead yet.
Peace is still only a dangerous idea in the mouths of men who have spent their whole lives learning how to bury one another. Konoha does not exist.
In one of the worst moments of her life, half-mad with grief, on the brink of chakra exhaustion, surrounded by ghosts who should neither walk nor speak, Sakura saves the wrong man.
She does not mean to change the world. She only means for one boy to live.
But the past is not merciful to those who touch it. It closes around what she has done before she can understand the cost, drawing in the life she stole back from death, the blade that almost ended it, the brother who would burn the world before surrendering him, and the impossible dream of a village no one has yet dared to build.
Uchiha and Senju begin to circle the shape of her mistake, and history shifts with them.
Time bares its teeth.

Sakura might be married to her job as a medic, but she can't stop thinking about her first loves: Genjutsu, and the Sensei who once taught it to her. What will happen when she accidentally casts an experimental Genjutsu on HERSELF and manifests a sentient, seductive Kakashi double? The answer: Trouble. Only trouble.
In the mean time, she's busy with a hundred other things: Attending an international medical summit, dragging Shikamaru along for the ride, attempting to earn her Sensei's respect, all the while testing the boundaries of her new Jutsu and trying not to die in the process.
