EIDOLON: Become Your Best Self is a TTRPG about battling using the psychic manifestations of your very soul, called Eidolons. Sometimes those Eidolons are named after songs, because the people who made this game are weebs. Eidolon CRANE is an AU about Life Series characters having Eidolons, which are named after Crane Wives songs, because this fandom knows what it likes. Simple.

He heard the low growl before he saw the thing it belonged to. Behind the bars, something bestial stalked forward on powerful muscles, an intimidating frame somewhere between human and wolf, covered in matted dark brown fur. The torchlight glinted off of its claws, and its eyes - a silvery blue - shone from the darkness. It bared its teeth at him.
"Hello, puppy," he said with a grin. "Surprised to see me?"

Pearl, being a werewolf, thinks it would be best to lock herself up and spend her heat alone so as not to hurt anyone. Grian - wanting to pay her back for helping him through his last nesting season - has other ideas.

"Just a second... and there," Doc said, pulling his hands free from S2077's chest cavity. His gloves were stained thick with blood. "Donor heart fully connected in S2077. Give them the startup shock."
He felt an icy cold electric shock run through him, and would have screamed, if he could control his own throat.
The heart monitor beeped to life.
Pearl and Scott wouldn't be friends if they met under ordinary circumstances. They just bring out the worst in each other, for some reason. They'd probably be much happier apart.
Unfortunately, they didn't meet under ordinary circumstances. They met when a medical experiment left them sharing their injuries with each other. With the same heart pumping in both of their chests, they don't have much of a choice, do they?

The stories told of a wild girl that ran with wolves, bare feet and hair whipping in the wind and bright red eyes. That she would send her pack on unsuspecting travelers and revel as they were torn limb by limb. That she would take her own bites out of the meat, hands as bloodied as the claws of her wolves. She looked like nothing of these stories. She was stupid girl in the woods risking her life with feral animals and occasionally scaring off the locals. She was no monster. She was nothing like him.
