Summary
The voice inside Hunter's head that calls itself Caleb—and is, conveniently, "probably cursed"—hasn't bothered him in a while, at least until the human and that cardinal palisman decide to run his perfectly planned life off course. Now Hunter's back to arguing with a pissed off, blaspheming, disembodied voice, while also trying to keep his uncle happy—and, of course, trying to keep the stupid bird out of harm's reach. But he's handling everything perfectly fine.
Never mind that Caleb seems to think that he is not, in fact, handling everything perfectly fine.Or, Caleb ends up sharing Hunter's head and both are understandably pissed about it. Updates every other Monday.

Just when Hunter's about to get the portal key from Amity, the Owl Lady comes swooping in and turns the fortunes of the fight against him. In the wake of that failure, he's dragged back to the palace in disgrace, and must explain himself to Belos.
The Emperor is not a merciful man. But Hunter has a second chance of sorts waiting for him at the Owl House, if he can bring himself to take it.
