    Also called: Why fucking with weird moulded time travel is always going to lead to problems.

    When Ethan dies in a ball of fire so strong it levels the 'Village of Shadows' he expects that to be the end. But apparently Eveline decided it would be a good idea to throw a temper tantrum and lock him in purgatory with her.

    Of course then she feels threatened because he's eating her mould vines prompting her to try killing him herself. He'd be fine with that (and no, he's not looking into that train of thought) but she starts telling him that once he was gone she was going possess Rose... So he eats her too (also not thinking about that).

    He tries to pull himself back to the real world with the power boost but miscalculates a tad making him wake up as a six-year-old.

    So now he's having to deal with body dysphoria, his trans-phobic parents, being a mould child (because that had stayed too), and Albert Wesker. He feels like Ethan but different. Wesker clearly feels it too because the man is fucking obsessed with playing happy families.

    At least pre-knowing-about-bioweapons Chris isn't an asshole, Ethan would almost call him charming if he wasn't still mad about his last stunt.

    When Captain Marvel sends out a distress call, the only League member available is Batman. Bruce comes to his aid, but he finds out that Billy is a 10-year-old homeless orphan with black hair and blue eyes. Obviously, he makes the only logical decision and adopts Billy. Because it's Bruce—who's allergic to revealing life-changing information—the League is left in the dark.

    This story is written as 5+1 story from the Justice League's POV as they attempt to define the weird relationship between Batman and Captain Marvel. 5 times they didn't realize Batman had adopted Captain Marvel, and the 1 time they did.

    Tim works as the CEO of Wayne Enterprises. Tim has a secretary, and then he has another one to help her because holy shit, the amount of crap Tam puts up with is insane and she needs an assistant of her own. Tim's second secretary is one Danny Nightingale.

    Superman targets Wayne Enterprises. Tim looks out the window as he his secretaries make their way towards the emergency exit, and there he is. Tim swears he can see his Uncle Clark sobbing as his eyes heat up.

    Then Danny grabs him, yanks him into the stairwell, and just as the building starts to crumble around them, shoves both Tim and Tam into a glowing green portal.

    Danny takes a blow to the head. They land on a floating island, in a swirling vortex of green, and the one who got them there is unconscious on the ground with a nasty headwound.

    Meanwhile, after the Justice League manages to snap Superman out of it, the man throws himself at Batmans feet and just...sobs. Tim was in the building, still. The burning, twisted wreckage of Wayne Enterprises.

    Clark can't hear his heartbeat anymore.
