Uh. Well. Not as much. Not anymore?” His shuddering hand gestured outwards, pointing at nothing, a wide gesticulation of no substance or meaning beyond nervous habit. Mike sucked in another harsh breath. “And it’s like… this— this massive thing. Like, life-changing. It’s kind of re-contextualised my whole life, actually. Like I’ve suddenly switched D&D classes, or something.”

Sure, he knew Satoshi was friends with many gym leaders from all over the world, but to have them along for a trip was totally different. More importantly, why hadn't Satoshi told him? "I...had no idea," Gou said softly to himself.
"What was that?"
Gou jumped a little but glanced back at the girl and her questioning look. "Nothing. I guess there's a lot about Satoshi I still haven't figured out."
"I wouldn't be too sure about that," Melody laughed. She watched as Satoshi whispered to her older sister, probably about Gou's surprise. "You know him better than you think."

Summary
Percy Jackson, fourteen days into his second year at New Rome University, is corralled by his girlfriend into "being one with the culture." Her idea of socializing, obviously, is to sign them both up for a course that does not actually do anything for his major. It’s written like a joke: the son of Neptune walks into a lecture hall, takes a test, and promptly fails.
After going through the five stages of grief, Percy finds out that he's a little more known than he thought he could be. It takes an entire class, a crazy goddess, and a little coaxing from Annabeth to decide how he feels about that.
(Spoiler: Really happy. Really, really happy.)

Athena’s eyes flash and glow, and she raises her hands. Annabeth closes her eyes, and everything in the air sizzles to a stop. There is a faint sea breeze, and then a familiar presence at her side.
“It would be unwise of you to hurt her.”
She opens her eyes to her boyfriend’s dad standing behind her, his eyes intent on her mother, who looks like she’s about to blow her top. Annabeth doesn’t breathe, doesn’t look away from Athena, but she takes several quick steps back to stand at Poseidon’s side. It’s not conscious; it’s a move based purely on self-preservation. Still, Annabeth is aware that every step she takes into the sea increases her mother’s ire and decreases the likelihood that Annabeth will ever be forgiven.

aka: Poseidon wants Percy to ascend. He'd like it even better if Percy chose to ascend. And if the best reason to become a god is for love, it doesn't take Poseidon long to realize that he doesn't have to look any further than Annabeth Chase. Meanwhile, while Annabeth is balancing PTSD, protecting Percy, and being a good daughter of a goddess who doesn't seem to care, she now has to figure out why she is on Poseidon's radar.

izuku's history class is starting a new chapter, and it sparks some memories that aren't izuku's own in his brain. one dream turns to two, turns to many, and izuku is just glad to finally be properly bonding with second and third.
