Summary
R2-D2 was hoping for a little bit of excitement when he was sent with Mistress Padme and Little Ani as part of Mistress Padme's protection. That was not what he got.
Now, Jedi Kenobi is clearly in trouble. As far as R2 can see, the best way to keep Mistress Padme safe is to save Jedi Kenobi.
Clearly, R2-D2 is the droid for the job.

Summary
2,000 years before the Jedi Apprentice novels start, a Sith Lord decides he'll get revenge for his lack of success by ruining the lives of the Sith that come after. He creates a device designed to do just that. In the end, it saves the Jedi and the Republic. Mostly.

Summary
The numbers given in canon for how large the GAR is and how it functions make no damn sense. So, I did a bunch of math and research and came up with a new and improved semi-realistic actually-functional GAR. This is mostly a reference for my own fics so I don't have to explain everything I've changed in each chapter, but I've had people ask to use my restructured GAR for their own fics so I am putting it out there for anyone to use. This will also include my clone culture notes in future chapters.
Please credit me @WobblyCat if you adapt any portion of my Revised GAR to your own work! I spent way too many hours crunching numbers and reading about the military for my effort to go unappreciated lmao

Since the war was just dragging troops around to devastate planets and terrorize them so they'd fold when Palpatine reorganized it into an Empire, I fully believe in 3 million troopers or at least an unrealistically low number compared to an entire galaxy. If it was a proper war, these numbers are ass. But wack ass numbrre are another clue to how fake it was b/c palpatine was playing chess with himself

Summary
