Alex is dead.
While the world celebrates, Morgan plans on taking vengeance on each person responsible for Alex's defeat. Their campaign of violence leads them on a collision course with a family with a dark secret and a group of heroes that might not be as heroic as they claim to be.
Diego is worried about Morgan. They are drinking water and eating vegetables of their own volition. Worse still, they have been getting regular sleep. When the man who killed Alex drops dead, Diego investigates to protect her sibling but soon discovers that Alex might not be as dead as claimed to be

Summary
Morgan is mad at Alex. He ran off to be a hero and left behind all his baggage for her to deal with. But if he’s done with her, she’s done with him… which is exactly what she thought until she came home to Alex on her couch who has no memories of her. Yeah he just stole her apartment but still, not her problem right? Right?
Alex got bored of the whole hero thing suddenly. Ended it. Went home, and this weird girl came strolling into his home. She claims to be his landlord but for whatever reason he can’t stop thinking about her. Maybe he should investigate.
What would happen if Alex’s Morgan-centric memory loss happened during the hero arc? Morgan is already mad and unsure of their relationship, is she going to fight for their friendship the way they did in canon. Would Alex give her a second thought if she doesn’t say she’s his best friend? If she just leaves?

Summary
It wasn’t big. It was a robbery gone wrong. She bled out. It wasn’t even on the news. A footnote. When Alex came to invite her to the wedding and saw a dusty, empty apartment, he figured she was temple raiding with Ohio. He didn’t come back until the wedding was over, that is when he realized something was wrong. Morgan had been dead for a year and he hadn’t even noticed.
Morgan knew he didn’t care about her but this felt like too much. Especially since she can still remember her year in hell. Maybe a trip to Cancun is what the two need to start the healing process.
